“Truly Madly Guilty” by Liane Moriarty

We meet three married couples that are friends and neighbors. The women are the real story while the husbands seem like filler. One of the wife’s mother is a hoarder leaving the grown daughter a neurotic mess, another was once successful dancer/stripper leaving her swimming in self-confidence, and the third wife is a wanna be cellist drowning in self-doubt. There is a typical suburban barbecue where the entire miss match of personalities collide and through a crisis evolve into nicer women with enlightened husbands.

If you are looking to do some major thinking I wouldn’t recommend this tale. If you are looking for a fun little beach book that doesn’t insult the reader’s intelligence this one is for you.
